All You Need to Know about Brickell Heights

Living in Miami is one of the most wonderful experiences. This is one of the most exciting cities in the world, and there’s room for everyone who wants to work hard, have a good time and be a good citizen. All neighborhoods in Miami have good things, but there are few like Brickell, and Brickell Heights, in particular, has a lot to offer to anyone who wants to live the full Miami experience. If you are interested in a modern and luxurious building, here’s all you need to know about it!

Located at 55 SW 9th Street Miami, FL, this building features some very attractive amenities that you won’t be able to resist. A party room, lunge, spa, Equinox Gym membership for residents, dining room, private gym, pool, 24-hour concierge and valet, are just some of the great things this building has to offer. You also need to know that every condo has porcelain floor and European kitchens, and the staff working in the building have great reviews, particularly the valet.

On the other hand, the management isn’t what it’s supposed to be just yet; they are head-hunting for the best team possible, one that’s up to match the luxury of this building.

One of the best things about this building is its location. Brickell has quickly become the center of Miami. The shopping, the restaurants, the nightlife, the wonderful views, and the many fun things to do, make this area one of the best places to live in this corner of Florida. Brickell Heights is at walking distance to everything in Brickell City Center and Mary Brickell Village.

Despite being in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Miami, there are some very reasonable prices for anyone looking for a place to rent or for investors planning to buy:

-Price Range for Purchasing: high $300,000 to $2 million
-Price Range for Renting: $1900 to $4500

If you are interested in buying or renting a condo in Brickell Heights or anywhere else in Miami, contact us anytime. At Gables Riches we are available all year to help you find the perfect place for you and your family.

Decorate Your New Coral Gables Home

There are few things happier than decorating your new home; the excitement of shaping your house or your condo, filling it with color, technology, and every last piece of furniture required to express, through your home, who you are. Decorate your new Coral Gables home with these tips and with the help of the stores below.

Hiring a professional interior designer can be very expensive, and some of them don’t have the ability to translate your thoughts, emotions and feelings into actions to decorate your new place exactly the way you want to. That’s why, even if you would like to get someone’s help with this matter, there are a few things that you should know first and some concepts that you should be familiar with before getting started.

Work with a budget: knowing how much money you have to spend on furniture, painting, lamps, drapes, and every item used to decorate is actually quite important, because this way you’ll be able to make smarter choices and you’ll be able to unify more evenly every piece you decide to buy.

Don’t buy everything at once: there are certain items like couches, sofas, appliances and beds that everyone needs to buy first, but every professional designer recommends getting everything else more calmly. Shop around, get to know your local stores and what they have to offer, do online window shopping and let your entire home take the shape that you always dreamed of.

Define your color palette: knowing which colors and hues you want is essential to be able to make smart purchases at the local store. Define if you would rather have warm colors with wooden floors and furniture, or a modern, pale look with white hues and minimalistic items.

One of our favorite stores in Coral Gables is Fine Line Furniture &Accessories. You simply can’t go wrong with this boutique where you can be sure that you’ll find some of the finest pieces of furniture in the whole state. Another unbelievable boutique we always recommend to our clients is Morada HauteFurniture; Italian designs that will provide a luxurious, contemporary and cosmopolitan look to your home. On the other hand, if you are more into rustic and modern accessories and furniture, all handcrafted by professionals, Victoria’s Armoire is the perfect store for you in Coral Gables.

Miami on the Runway

About five years ago, Miami was fascinated with the arrival of Naeem Khan, an Indian designer who moved to the US in the 70s to work in the fashion industry. Khan is eager to give back to America what it has given to him in his career. This is why the designer is now on the move to reinvigorate Miami’s fashion industry roots.

Nowadays, Miami’s fashion industry has to do more with nightlife and swimwear. However, Khan’s plan is to expand Americans perception of the city. He’s planning to build his company’s future headquarters. It will comprise a space of about 70,000sqft, along the Miami River. This project –design, production, and licensing, is estimated to be completed by late 2018 or early 2019. Also, designer Rene Ruiz has been running his brand in Miami for the past 25 years. He opened a 10,000sqft factory in 2013 in Miami. He currently oversees 60 employees.

Both Ruiz and Khan are laying Miami’s underground to finally establish the fashion industry in this city. This year, the Miami Dade College will offer a degree program in fashion design and merchandising, since without educated people the industry will never emerge.

Also, Miami’s Design District is putting Miami as a major player on the luxury market. Dacra and L Real Estate joined to transform the neighborhood, with intentions of investing on its creative side and making spaces for business, for more and more brands to get inspired on these new concepts. In 2015, big brands like Hermès, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Cartier, Givenchy, Loewe, and Tom Ford, among so many others, were attracted by the Design District.

Every day, more and more fashion players are coming to Miami to continue their careers. There has been a special migration from New York to Miami, like in the case of Kelly Framel, also known as The Glamourai. It seems Miami is on its way out from just being a swimwear, nightlife city and on its way into the runway.
