Location of Coral Gables Country Club Neighborhood
While the neighborhood is called “Coral Gables Country Club,” it actually surrounds the Biltmore and the Riviera Golf Courses and Country Club. Situated in what is called “North Gables,” the country club neighborhood is filled with gorgeous homes, perfectly landscaped lots and tree-lined streets.
The Coral Gables Country Club is also within walking distance to downtown Coral Gables and relatively close to Biscayne Bay.
There are about 35 homes for sale in the Coral Gables Country Club neighbordhood priced between the mid-$300s and about $3.5 million. The units range in size from a three bedroom and two bathroom with 1,926 sq. ft. to a seven bedroom and seven bathroom with 9,057 sq. ft. The closer the home is to either of the exclusive and private golf courses, the more expensive the list price. The style of homes varies with most of them having an “Old Florida” or Mediterranean feel to them. Many are updated on the inside with newer fixtures, appliances, floors and more. Additionally, pools and expansive outdoor living areas have been added to enhance the enjoyment of living in such a wonderful neighborhood. As for recently sold homes, 29 homes have sold in the past six months. The median sale price was just under $700K (Sep – Nov 2012), which was up over 33 percent from the same time in 2011 and could be a considered a good sign for investors as prices may continue to rise.
Rentals in the Coral Gables Country Club neighborhood range from $1,150 a month for a one bedroom and bathroom to a $15,000 monthly for a four bedroom and five bathroom unit.
A Great Choice
Coral Gables Country Club is a good choice for many homebuyers especially for those that are golfers, retirees or have a family. This is a close-knit neighborhood that cares about its surroundings and takes great care in aesthetic preservation. That feeling is evident when driving through the streets. It is definitely worth consideration.
